Independent Living
Our Independent Living services help young adults prepare for the “Real World” by readying them for a life on their own. To help with this transition, our specially trained staff imparts the skills they need to achieve a successful, independent life in the community.
In addition, we assist both male and female clients in obtaining suitable housing, employment, and support services in southeastern Wisconsin counties – all from our centralized Milwaukee office in the Education and LIfe Skills Development Center.
Supervised Independent Living
Supervised Independent Living offers 16- to 21-year-olds – who are on the verge of living independently – certain daily transition services like subsidies, life skills, training, housing placement, and supervision.
Connections
Connections is a voluntary service for boys and girls who have aged out of foster care which assists 17.5- to 21-year olds with limited housing subsidies, instruction, direction, and support.
