Thank you for considering a gift to Lad Lake!

Giving to Lad Lake is the best way to help the most vulnerable youth in our community. While financial donations are preferred, there are a number of ways you can help make a difference.

Include Lad Lake in your legacy giving

There are many ways to fit charitable giving into your overall estate planning. A Lad Lake legacy gift guarantees that the issues that matter to you continue to be supported in your family name, long after you’re gone. Following are a few examples of legacy gifts; many of which also allow you to save on taxes including:

  • charitable gift annuity
  • charitable bequest
  • stocks and bonds
  • retirement assets
  • charitable remainder trust
  • real estate
  • life insurance

Become a Sponsor of a Lad Lake event

Lad Lake currently hosts two separate fundraising events each year. The first is a family-oriented Run/Bike/Hike at our Dousman campus in June to benefit survivors of sexual exploitation. The second takes place in September in Milwaukee and serves as an Awards/Scholarship banquet for youth aging out of foster care. Multiple levels and sponsorship opportunities are available. Donate In-Kind

Items such as furniture, food or health and hygiene products (supports youth aging out of foster care and survivors of sexual exploitation).

The food pantry program alone serves more than 600 clients per year. We accept all nonperishable foods, as well as fruits and vegetables that fall within our capacity to distribute in a timely matter. We do not accept any outdated or expired products.

Lad Lake appreciates the donation of a variety of goods and services. A donation of school supplies or health and hygiene items, for example, can always be utilized at the residential treatment facilities and schools for both girls and boys.  These types of donations allow us to allocate much needed funds to our programs serving at-risk youth and families. Lad Lake also accepts donations of school supplies, new desktop computers and laptops, desks, chairs, sofas and house wares/ furniture for former foster kids living independently for the first time.
